Kidnapping Charges: Acquittals at Trial
An 18-year-old client faced two kidnapping charges and other felony allegations. The client rejected a multi-year plea offer and went to trial.
The jury acquitted the client of both kidnapping counts and the other felony counts it decided. The jury deadlocked 11 to 1 in favor of acquittal on the remaining count. The District Attorney’s Office did not retry that count, and the client received a time-served sentence for misdemeanor convictions returned at the same trial.

Arson Case: All Charges Dismissed During Trial
A building owner was accused of setting fire to his own property. The defense retained fire experts, rejected plea offers, and tried the case. The court dismissed every charge before the prosecution completed its presentation.
Federal Sting Case: Not Guilty on Both Firearm Counts
Federal agents conducted a sting operation that resulted in firearm charges. The defense argued that agents created the alleged criminal plan. The jury returned not-guilty verdicts on both firearm counts.
